Powhatan Day of Mission

The Episcopal Churches in Powhatan are gathering for a Day of Mission to serve the Powhatan community. Please set this morning aside to engage in ministry.

We will gather at St.Luke’s at 8:00 a.m. for coffee/muffins, prayers, and distribution of tasks. Then we will venture to our job sites. We plan to work between 9:00 a.m. and Noon. We will then meet at Manakin for lunch and conversation at 12:30, ending the day at 1:00 p.m.

There will be projects for all ages and abilities. Among our projects is to glean produce at Shalom Farms, pack backpacks of food, and assist in the Food Pantry.

Please consider setting this day aside to engage your family, friends, and neighbors in mission work.

For more information, or to add your name to our volunteers, please contact: Doris Custer, St. Luke’s – CusterDD@gmail.com Bryn Davis, Manakin – BrynDavis3@yahoo.com
