On Sunday, 3 October, please invite your friends, family, and neighbors to bring their pets to join  The Blessing of the Animals.  It will take place at St. Luke’s at 3:00 pm in the parking lot in front of the Parish Hall.  Saint Francis invited the Church to look at all of creation as a gift from God, a gift that needs our respect and care.  This yearly celebration, near the Feast of St. Francis, allows us to pause and give thanks for God’s great and wonderful creation, especially our pets and the other animals in our lives.
