Veterans Day Evening Prayer – At 3:00 pm on November 10, Evening Prayer will be said as our nations marks Veterans Day. We will remember those who have served our country, as we pray for peace in our nation and in the world.
Safe Church Training - St. Luke’s is hosting the final Safe Church Workshops of the year: Specialized Safe Church on Saturday, November 16 (9 am – 3 pm) and Universal Safe Church on Sunday, November 17 (1 pm – 2:30 pm). Lunch will be provided at Saturday’s workshop. Registration has posted on the safe church webpage of www.diosova.org and in Tidings. You are encouraged to register and attend if you need training-please call the office if you are unsure of the expiration date of your current certificate or if you need to know which training to take. Registration will close on Tuesday, November 11 at 8 am.
Adult Forum - How might we live into the Church's invitation to the Observance of a Holy Advent? Advent is all but forgotten as the world moves to "Christmas". Advent is a time of holy waiting and holy desire. Can we rediscover the importance of the season of Advent? We meet Sunday morning 9:10 – 10:10 in the Parish Hall. See you there!
LET THE PRIEST
DO THE COOKING
Once a month put aside the need to decide what to cook for dinner. Let Dale+ do the cooking on the first Wednesday of the month. Supper is served at 6:00 pm and the conversations end at 7:15 pm. Please mark your calendars and remember to RSVP to the office if you wish to attend. This will allow a proper amount of food to be prepared.
Wednesday, November 13. We will be continuing our conversation on the Psalms.
